About Olivia

Olivia’s passion for giving back to her community started in grade school where she volunteered with her local literacy council to help teach younger children how to read. She remained active in volunteering thru college at the University of Oklahoma, where she majored in Communication and interned in Development at the Oklahoma Arts Institute. After working as an Event Coordinator for several years in Orlando, Florida she decided to move to Hollywood to pursue a career in television. Her event planning experience has proven to be quite useful in her volunteer work. Two years ago she became a member of Planned Parenthood Young Professionals where she is currently serving her second year as their Special Events and Cocktails for a Cause Chair.  Last fall, after finding herself unemployed for the first time in her life, she decided to get more active in her community. It has taught her what’s really important in life,  helping others.  She believes everything happens for a reason and her experiences in giving back has truly made her a better person. Olivia also continues to lend a hand with other local organizations including being a project leader for L.A. Works and volunteering at Dress for Success, The Saban Free Clinic, Project Angel Food and her local America Red Cross. When not volunteering she can be found hiking Runyon Canyon or enjoying a fabulous brunch with friends.
